The International HOGAM Council has issued an official statement expressing its sincere appreciation for the dedicated efforts and valuable achievements of Mr. Khaled Masih during his tenure as President of the Council, while officially announcing the conclusion of his term.

Pursuant to the decision adopted by the Presiding Board, and with the aim of ensuring continuity in development programs, enhancing the global standing of HOGAM, and maintaining organizational cohesion, Dr. Behzad Gholampour Dehaki has been appointed as President of the International HOGAM Council, with the approval of the Board of Trustees and while retaining his current position.

Dr. Gholampour Dehaki, who has previously served as Head of HOGAM Martial Arts in the United States of America, possesses distinguished academic and executive credentials, including serving as a university professor and holding a Ph.D. in Strategic Sports Management. The combination of academic expertise in strategic sports management and hands-on operational experience in leading the U.S. HOGAM community were among the primary reasons for the Presiding Board’s confidence in entrusting him with this significant responsibility.

The International HOGAM Council extends its congratulations on this well-deserved appointment and expresses confidence that, drawing upon Dr. Gholampour Dehaki’s managerial expertise and international track record, a new chapter in the expansion, standardization, and elevation of this authentic art-sport on the global stage will be realized.

Once again, the Council expresses its heartfelt gratitude for the sincere and devoted efforts of Mr. Khaled Masih during his presidency and wishes him continued health and success.
